COVID-19: Update to Our Customers

As we monitor the COVID-19 situation developing around the world, our top priority is to maintain the health and safety of our employees, clients and community members while maintain a consistent level of client service. We wanted to reach out to you to provide an update on what Lamunyon is doing in the wake of the current events.

Within our office, we have taken action to follow the recommended precautions suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). To protect our office environments, we have made hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap and disinfecting wipes available for all employees. We have also instituted enhanced cleaning protocols in all of the common areas in our office. Our staff have begun staggering their shifts, so as not to have too many individuals exposed to each other at a time.

We are communicating with our team members regularly, ensuring they are updated on evolving situations in our communities as well as any associated adjustments we need to make. We have alerted our employees who are ill or who have family in their homes who are exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness not to report to our office or any client site. To date, we have had no team members to which this applies but we will be following strict quarantine rules in alignment with the most up-to-date CDC guidance for employees who have been (and those who have family members who live in their homes who have been) in contact with someone who has been exposed to or diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Our team is going to do it’s best to stay open and to continue to serve the needs of our customers, however, please take note that we have put some guidelines into effect, in order to protect our employees and our customers. At the time of scheduling a visit to a home, we will be assessing the situation by asking these questions:

  1. Has anyone in the home traveled within the last 14 days to/from a state or country identified as a hot spot?
  2. Has anyone in the home been exposed to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19?
  3. Is anyone in the home showing signs of illness including:
    • A fever greater than 100 degrees;
    • Cough; and/or
    • Shortness of breath.

If the answer to any of these questions is yes or the occupant(s) prefers not to have a worker in their home, the visit will be rescheduled. In the event of an emergency, our employees will be supplied with Personal Protective Equipment, designed to protect workers from physical hazards when on a worksite.

Foundation Repair appointments will continue to be available. In order to limit exposure as much as possible, we are currently offering virtual appointments. For more information, please call our office.

Please take note that we will also be closing our office to the public, in an effort to limit our employees’ exposure, however we can still be reached by phone or email.
