Mike and his wife Arlene started Lamunyon Dry Out & Foundation Repair back in 1973 and now have been in business for over 4 decades. What started as a window cleaning/janitorial business is now an emergency water damage/foundation repair business. They have two adult children and still enjoy spending time together as a family.
Mike enjoys helping people recover from disasters and consulting with them regarding their foundation issues. In fact the tagline on company trucks and business cards say “When Big Surprises Strike Your Home.”
Mike particularly enjoys volunteer work, and served in the prison ministry for 33 years while living in Hutchinson. He also volunteers to help individuals with their marital and family issues. He finds joy and happiness in helping others get through their difficulties in life.
In business Mike obsesses about making cheerleaders out of his clients, going the extra mile, putting on our ‘customer’s eye glasses’ and delivering ‘Positive Moments of Truth’.
A special note to our customers: “We are here to serve the needs of others and to make life better when big surprises strike your home”.

Sydney has worked in customer service for years; in fact, she has been in Lamunyon’s office for a while now, so there’s a chance you’ve spoken with her if you’ve ever called in. She is not from Kansas originally, so being able to get out and meet people around the state is exciting for her! Sydney loves listening and singing along with music, and plays it herself as often as she can. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, watching movies or playing board games with their friends. She would like our clients to know that she is here to help, in any way she can!

I first started working for Lamunyon back in November of 2020. Working for Lamunyon has been a wonderful and refreshing experience. First and foremost, the employees at Lamunyon truly care for one another and the customers they serve. When we receive a call for an issue, we are always looking for the correct solution to the customer’s concern, whether we can provide that solution or direct the customer to someone who can take care of their needs. Everything and everyone conducts themselves in a professional manner and strives to do the right thing day in and day out. I was born in Dodge City, Kansas and moved to Wichita in the fifth grade. Playing outside with my little brother and friends were my everyday routine. Sports have always been a major part of my life. Baseball was my passion for many years. I grew up in a very close family. After high school, I moved to Omaha, Nebraska and Fayetteville, Arkansas for work. Wichita was always my home. When the opportunity came for me to come back I grabbed it immediately. Kansas is and always will be home. I have been in the customer service industry for most of my life and truly enjoy it. When I am not at work I spend most of my time with my 16 year old. I enjoy watching him play sports and grow into the best possible person that he can be. I have quite a large family as well. During this pandemic it has been hard to see everyone, but we keep in touch as much as possible. I have a wonderful girlfriend going on 2 years now who is truly my batter half. Vacations are in our near future once everything gets back to normal (as much as it can anyway). Cruising is our number one vacation to take. The sun and the water are calling our names!
Dustin recently re-joined our team, bringing with him 15 years of mitigation experience. In his free time, Dustin enjoys studying, golfing, cooking, and watching tv/movies with his wife Sarah. He has a dog he loves and four cats, all full of personality. His favorite season is winter, and is always vocal about his passions. Dustin loves getting to know new people, so feel free to say hello, and ask him about the time he came face-to-face with a mama bear and her cubs! Dustin would like to tell our customers, “Thank you allowing us the opportunity to serve you.”
