Meet The Team

Alex is our General Manager and certified in all areas of our industry. He has an extensive background in construction too. His upbringing covers Nebraska, Utah, Idaho and Oregon so his hobbies include the outdoors, naturally! Like several of our guys he enjoys hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He and his wife are kept busy with their three daughters and now two grandchildren—a grandson and granddaughter. He enjoys the different challenges the job brings and wants our customers to know, ‘you can’t do this yourself. We can handle it!’

Laura Cogan serves as our Office Manager, keeping daily operations running smoothly with a people-first approach. In addition to holding a commission as a Notary Public, she has expanded her knowledge with advanced training, notably earning a Certificate of Concentrated Studies in Human Resource Management from Vermont’s Champlain University. An animal lover at heart, Laura would have a whole herd of pets if she could. However, she currently lives in a household ruled by only two cats. She also enjoys fun game nights and relaxing with a good movie, with “A Walk in the Clouds” and “Me Before You” topping her list of favorites.

Cody is our Foundation Repair Sales Manager, focused on helping locals with basement waterproofing and foundation repairs. Cody enjoys helping people most and is proudly certified in all areas of our industry. Cody was born in Clay Center, and was raised on a farm nearby. His background is in construction and drywall – both of which come in handy here! Cody, his wife and two children often enjoy hunting and fishing year-round.

I spent most of my life in Colorado. My wife and I moved to Clay Center, Kansas in 2019. For work and outside of work, I enjoy teaching others and conducting research on a variety of subjects. We enjoy gardening and growing vegetables, spending time with family and friends, and we enjoy animals.

Lance continues to hone his restoration skills here and is a much-appreciated member of the crew! With nearly 10 years of experience now. His dedication shines in the details of his work. In his free time, you’ll find Lance restoring old cars, playing volleyball and when the weather is nice, a round of golf of two. Lance is a father to two beautiful little girls.

I am from Nebraska,  but I have lived in Kansas since 2023. I enjoy fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and woodworking. My wife is a special education teacher in Olsburg, KS; my son loves adventure, and our daughter is a handful. We have two dogs: Tink (Australian Shepherd) and Walter (Akita). We also have Scary Terry, a tarantula. The best advice I have heard is: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” – Aristotle

I was born and raised in Michigan and now live in Kansas, where I’m raising my four kids while coparenting. I have a background in customer service and working with young children, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping others. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with friends, usually while staying fueled by a Dr. Pepper or a tea from Little Apple Nutrition. Life can be busy, but I truly enjoy every moment of it.

David joined Lamunyon in 2011 and is well versed in our industry. As a Clay Center native, David has a long history of customer service work and service industry related knowledge. He and his wife Christy, along with their daughter, enjoy playing aggravation despite the aggravation it causes, Jane Austen movie marathons, and short Kansas vacations.

David is our Foundation Repair Production Foreman. Having been with us since 2012, he’s certified in all areas of our industry. He was born in Galveston, Texas and has been involved in a variety of construction fields. He and his wife enjoy staying busy with their three children and 3 dogs, Bud, Jersey and Honey. His hobbies include fishing and playing the drums. What he likes best about the profession is “the people I work with.”
