The previous owners of our home had a partial foundation repair done in the basement. When we needed to continue the work, we needed to use the same company to tie into the previous work. The Lamunyon bid came in a bit higher than others, but we felt that the company seemed to have the best knowledge and only ability to bring all the work together without adding new sump pumps. The wait to get scheduled was a bit farther out than we would have preferred to get started, but we were very pleased with the work that was completed. The employees assigned to our house were David and Ralph. They were kind, respectful, always on time, and worked incredibly hard! My husband and I both work from home, on zoom, and even with the noise of machines, they would come in and out quietly and did not disturb our daily routine. Everyone knows what foundational repairs look like, and I can see many have added their own images. So I'm including my favorite part of this whole experience - the love David and Ralph showed to our dog! Charlie was their biggest fan, and they were hers! She got a head pat, ear scratches and a bit of quiet chit-chat each and every time they came in and out. After three days of work, I know she'll miss seeing them!

Cody deserves some kind of award. He spent 45 minutes diagramming the different ways footings and foundations are constructed. He did a complete walkthrough of my house and assessed the crack in the wall in my master bedroom. Then, he got kind-a quiet and said, "Let's go outside." When he approached the SW corner of my house in the backyard, he pointed and said, "That's the problem."I've got zero guttering, spout extensions or drainage control in that SW-side of my house. The last bout of heavy rain several months ago completely washed out the soil and caused my foundation to settle about 1/4 inch (hence the crack in my bedroom wall). Then Cody said, "Before we consider a costly foundation repair approach, get your guttering and drainage issues fixed. Then, call to let us know if that didn't solve the problem."Honesty. Integrity. Stan and I are completely satisfied with the services provided by Lamunyon. We had a broken main water pipe which caused water deep enough to cause waves from wall to wall across a large part of our basement. We had some settling along the front wall of our house to the point where we saw cracks in the wall and our front door wasn't operational. Lamunyon was then recommended to come in and stabilize the house so it wouldn't sink anymore. They quoted us needing 8 helical piers up to 20 feet deep to help stabilize the stem wall that was holding up our slab house. Unfortunately due to the type of soil under my house, we had to go deeper than 20 feet on them all so we had some overages. The cost for those overages was laid out ahead of time by Cody, who did the bid, and again reconfirmed by Matt before he started working. Everyone I worked with was fantastic and answered all of my questions. Starting from the initial call into the office to set up a bid, to Cody coming out to see what was going on as well as explaining his process for how he got to the bid numbers and last but not least the work that Matt, Jeff, Jonah and David all did to get the piers in place and fill in the hole. These were all a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is having foundation issues!! They also quoted us for three days work and that is what it took even though they had more work than they originally planned for due to the soil being a little more sandy and loose. Once again thank you for the work you did! It is one of those things that I would hope I never need to have done again but at least I know who my first call will be to!

During the consultation Cody was thorough with the process and the time it would take to fix the leak. I had my foundation stabilized. The whole process was very easy and all that I spoke with were very professional. From Cody inspecting, preparing the bid, and explaining the process in detail to Matt completing the job. Anytime I reached out to Cody, he not only replied to my email, but also called me. I had a footing raised that had settled due to the clay soil drying. The job required 7 helical piers that support the brackets under the footing. The brackets raised and stabilized the footing. The job took 3 and a half days. The team of Matt and Kyle were punctual, professional, explained everything and did outstanding work. The footing is now level and stable.

We had a very good experience dealing with Lamunyon. They were the third company we had come to assess our foundation problems. I am by no means a foundation expert, but I have extensively remodeled several houses. This is the first house that had serious foundation problems. Windows close to the northwest corner of the house would not open or close, and could not be locked. The first two companies gave us solutions that did not seem to pinpoint the area of our problem.When Brent, from Lamunyon, gave us his proposal, it called for push piers and helical piers in the area where we were having problems. Everything he proposed seemed to make more sense. When the work crew, Matt, Kyle and Tyler, came out to do the actual work, they were great to work with. They kept us informed on what they were doing and why it had to be done. They all worked extremely hard and got the job done ahead of schedule even though it rained on the day they raised the house. The problem area of the house was raised approximately 3 inches. I felt comfortable with Matt’s expertise and was comfortable taking his advice on the whole project. Our windows now open, close and lock. Matt, the project lead, also reduced our total cost since they did not have to drill as deep as originally estimated to hit stable ground.

Lamunyon installed a water drainage system to a sump with pump in our crawlspace, insulated and sealed existing vents, encapsulated the stem walls and floor of the crawlspace and insulated the the stem walls. When our basement flooded due to a major plumbing leak, Lance and crew were here in less than four hours. That's after a two hour drive. They got right to work moving the furniture, getting the water picked up and setting up the fans and dehumidifiers. They were constantly checking to make sure everything was working properly, and that the drying process was proceeding as planned. I had my crawl space encapsulated. Drain tile, sump pump and insulation installed. The project took five days with the entrance to the space in the master bedroom closet. I was filled with trepidation for the potential of disruption and the trashing of the area since we would sleep there each night.I could not have been more impressed, work was done most expeditiously and the area was kept clean throughout the day. The work was pretty extensive -- drywall and carpet removal, top to bottom cleaning of pretty much every surface in the basement, and duct cleanout. Came home from work in Arizona to a wet basement following the rain we got in early May. Called and was able to get on the schedule for the following morning-a Saturday-for an estimate of the damage. Jamie and his assistant arrived at my house in the late morning. They looked throughout my basement from the finished area to the laundry room and bathroom and provided an explanation of everything and why. Within several hours of their arrival, I had an estimate, the damage removed from the basement and fans set up to help the dehumidifying process. Bonus points that they took the water damaged not-so-dry wall and carpet away so I didn’t have to worry about it. Because they contained their work to the basement and created a negative pressure room, Jamie had taken photos of the area where the leak was very likely. By doing this, I was able to see the damage that I wouldn’t have even known about. They returned to my house twice to pull equipment out and look at the progress. Very happy with their communication as well as speed and how well they got my basement dried out.
